Dear Members of the Jury, participants and guests!

I cordially welcome all the participants of the MOSCOW PIANO OPEN!

The elimination stage of our competition is held in Moscow for the second time, and its winners will perform at the "Classic Piano" International Piano Competition in 2021.

The artistic development requires curiosity of mind, perseverance, and new emotional impressions. The result of this experience could be as invaluable as the music itself.

I am sure that the competition will be organized at the highest level, will open up to the world bright talents, and finally, it will become a real celebration of the inspired creativity.

I wish prosperity and longevity to this musical holiday, public recognition to participants, and unforgettable impressions produced by the true art to our dear listeners.

Good luck!

Your Mikhail Khokhlov
Principal of the Gnessin School of Music
